The Kliniken Schmieder were founded by Professor Friedrich Schmieder M.D. in the fifties. He started with a department for war veterans with brain injury, and soon after, the treatment of patients with brain damage or neurological diseases became the mid-point of the clinic. Prof Schmieder with his team developed the world leading concept of neurological treatment in different phases. Our goal is to support patients to come back to life and to try to bring them back to work – if possible.
